Coaches & Mentors

Eagle Robotics began with the support of our founding mentors: AllenISD Engineering Teacher Greg Burnham, Electrical Engineer Anthony Myers, Marketing Specialist Gina Myers, and Dr. Nathan Huntoon of DRS Technologies. With over 30 years of combined FIRST mentorship experience, these mentors were instrumental in laying the base of the Eagle Robotics program.

Since then, we’ve grown to having six full-time mentors, who support and guide us throughout the season and beyond. Our mentors encourage us to participate as a team and be creative, using our passion for the STEAM fields to affect others. As role models for the team, they embody FIRST’s Core Values and inspire us to do the same. This year, we’re especially proud to highlight the efforts of two of our mentors as Eagle Robotics’ Woodie Flowers Award nominees: Greg Burnham and Darrell Ray.
