FIRST Conferences
Last season Allen Eagle Robotics had the incredible opportunity to present three FIRST Conferences during the World Championships. We shared our experiences and insights through sessions on WISE (Women Involved in STEM Education), FTC, and Unified/FIRST Access. Our team is passionate about giving back to the FIRST community, and we typically present at multiple conferences each year, continuing to inspire and educate teams worldwide!

At our WISE (Women in STEM Empowerment) conference, we guided teams on how to start their own WISE chapters, sharing tips and resources to foster inclusivity in STEM. To keep things engaging, we played fun games with the audience, demonstrating some of our favorite STEAM Night activities. These interactive moments not only made learning more enjoyable but also gave attendees hands-on ideas to bring back to their own communities!

At our FTC conference, we shared valuable insights on how to start and mentor an FTC team at your school. We covered key steps like securing funding, finding mentors, and building a strong team structure. Our presentation also highlighted best practices for supporting students and fostering a successful robotics program. By the end, attendees left with practical strategies and resources to kickstart their own FTC journey!

At our Unified/FIRST Access conference, we discussed how to start and grow an inclusive robotics program at your school. We covered the steps to create a Unified/FIRST Access team, including building partnerships, adapting robotics activities, and fostering an inclusive environment. Our session emphasized the importance of providing STEM opportunities for students of all abilities. Attendees left with practical strategies to make robotics more accessible and welcoming in their own communities!
